Who we are and scope

Harper Home Security is a consumer request guide operated by Sovereign Software Systems LLC(“Harper,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you visit this site or submit a request.

Harper does not install or monitor security systems, dispatch emergency help, rank or vet providers, or guarantee a response, match, price, availability, or security result. At this stage, requests stay with Harper and are not sent to home-security providers.

Information we collect

We collect the information you choose to provide through the request form:

• your full name, phone number, email address, and ZIP code;
• the home security interest you select;
• your optional message and permission to contact you.

When you submit, we create a request ID, submission time, authoritative source page, contact-consent record, and the versions of the Privacy Policy and Terms shown with the form.

Cloudflare may process ordinary request and security information, such as an IP address, browser and device information, request logs, and security signals, to deliver and protect the site.

How we use information

We use request information only to review, respond to, and administer the request; make the phone or email contact the visitor authorized; operate and secure the site and delivery workflow; prevent misuse; keep required records; and comply with law.

The site does not use advertising cookies, behavioral advertising, or a browser analytics beacon. It does not respond differently to Do Not Track signals because it does not use cross-site behavioral advertising. We do not knowingly allow another party to collect personal information through this site over time and across unrelated sites for behavioral advertising. Cloudflare may still process ordinary request and security information needed to deliver and protect the site.

How information is shared

We use Cloudflare to host and protect the site and Google Apps Script, Google Sheets, and Gmail to transmit, store, and notify us about requests. At this stage, we do not send request information to home-security providers, sell it, or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

We may disclose information when law requires it, to protect rights or safety, or as part of a business transaction with appropriate safeguards.

Retention and security

We keep the full request for 12 months after submission, or 12 months after our last response if we follow up. We keep a minimal record of the permission you gave and any do-not-contact request for five years. We may keep information longer when reasonably necessary for a legal hold, dispute, fraud prevention, or another legal obligation. Deletion from provider backups follows the provider’s backup cycle.

We use encrypted transport, input validation, rate limiting, access controls, and restricted internal accounts designed to reduce risk. No transmission or storage method can guarantee absolute security.

Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may ask to access, correct, delete, or obtain a copy of request information, or appeal our response. You may withdraw contact permission at any time. Email [email protected] and identify the email address or phone number associated with the request. We will verify requests proportionately and explain any applicable exception.

Children

This form is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. A parent or guardian who believes a child submitted information may contact us at [email protected].

Changes to this policy

We will post an updated effective date when this Policy changes. If a material change affects information already collected, we will provide any additional notice or choice required by law.
